Takoyaki

Japanese kinda savoury dough balls, served with a savoury sauce and mayo and other toppings.

I'm pretty impressed with my first attempt at these and since making this first batch, I've been experimenting with making dutch pancake puffs (yeast batter is pretty tasty) as well.

Make Do & Mend - felting a patch in a jumper

Husband got a lovely fuzzy wool jumper for christmas... and fairly soon after managed to rip a hole in the elbow.

My mom suggested I use my needlefelting to fix it and it turned out really well.

This is possibly the smallest shrink plastic I've ever made. The grid is 1cm.

Laptop Cover

Some heavy downpours of rain made me realise I really needed a somewhat waterproof cover for my laptop when travelling. Unfortunately my backpack is not the correct shape for a traditional backpack raincover.
I bought faux leather upholstery fabric years ago, and the snaps, to make weird softcover books.
The blue bias binding is leftovers from hackspace ovenmitt.

Dress-up with Build-a-Bear ponies

Not much to say about this. Just using some scrap fabric. The tiara is a pound shop My Little Pony tiara.





The apron is modelled after the on in the episode Dragon Quest. Pinkie's dress is just Pinkie-ish.
